The eligibility rules are changing for patients who need Enhanced Primary Care referrals to allied health.

In the local area, this is particularly relevant to patients who get referrals to podiatry and physiotherapy with Medicare vouchers.

The government is now linking eligibility for these referrals to enrolment with a practice via My Medicare.

When time permits, please come to the practice (it need not be with a visit) to complete a My Medicare registration form.

The risk of not enrolling with My Medicare is that the voucher may become invalid and you will need to pay privately for the allied health visit.

Visit https://www.health.gov.au/our-work/mymedicare/patients for more information about My Medicare.
