Commencing 1 February 2026, Warrumbungle Medical Centre and Douglass Hanly Moir pathology will be closed on Fridays. Opening hours as follows: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm *Lunch closure 1pm - 2pm Friday to Sunday closed Our doors open for patients with doctor's appointment from 9.15am. For pathology patients, please wait to be called in for your appointment if before 9.15am.

Warrumbungle Medical Centre and Douglass Hanley Moir pathology will be closed on Friday 12 December, reopening on Monday 15 December. Also, closed on Friday 19 December 2025, re-open on Monday 22 December. We will be closed over the Christmas period from 1.00pm on 24 December 2025, re-opening on Monday 5 January 2026 at 9.15am. We wish all our patients a peaceful Christmas and a safe new year!

We are sorry to announce that applications for new patients are once again closed.  We have been inundated with new applications over the last few weeks, so much so that it will take several months to work through the waiting list, particularly as we are again moving into a period of serious medical workforce shortage.

We are now live with our new system, Helix! Currently, it does not send appointment reminders. Please make a note of your appointment. Feel free to call us to confirm if unsure. Thank you to our patients who have been so understanding during the switch over!
