Transfer of records to other GP practices

We understand that patients may need to transfer to other GP practices.

When such requests can be performed by electronic transfer to the other practice via email or Medical Objects, we will not charge the patient.

When the transfer involves printing, posting or downloading apart from Medical Objects or email, an administration fee will be charged, based on time and size of the patient file.

It is important to note that when transferring to another GP practice, the patient becomes inactive at the Warrumbungle Medical Centre, meaning that no appointments are no longer possible whilst our books are closed. When our books eventually re-open, inactive patients may once again be put on the waiting list for active patient status at Warrumbungle Medical Centre.
